Welcome to the learning world of Catena-X!
Here you can discover training offers from other organisations on Catena-X or data spaces in general. Please note that the Transfer-X courses are only available in German and that some of the information may already be out of date. The Transfer-X courses were developed in the first half of 2024, the PCF Academy in 2023. You can find a constantly updated training program under Catena-X Training.
Transfer-X Training Program
The Transfer-X project, funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, offers a learning and knowledge platform with free, web-based learning courses on the topics of data spaces and Industry 4.0 technologies, including Catena-X. These can be found on the linked platform via the tile ‘Data Ecosystems’ —> ‘4. Catena-X data spaces in the automotive industry’ or via the ‘Search for learning modules’ function using the keyword Catena-X. They are also linked below in the respective learning modules listed.

Dataspace-relevant Trainings from other Organisations
Other organisations offer general training on Data Spaces or technologies used in Data Spaces. Unlike the Catena-X Campus offerings, these are not directly related to Catena-X, e.g.:
- The International Data Spaces Association offers both in person and virtually professional qualifications about data spaces targeting various audiences from newcomers to specialists.
- The Data Space Professional Qualification Programme enables the candidates to acquire expert views on data spaces leveraging the Association joint experience on the topic.
- Training sessions are available from various training providers and different setups adapting the needs of professionals.
- The Gaia-X Hub Germany c/o acatech has an own campus where they offer multimedia-enhanced texts with regard to the basics of the data economy.
- On the campus you can explore why there is so much excitement about the data economy and why it is useful.
- The Fraunhofer-Institut für Software- und Systemtechnik offers a Basic Training – Data Sovereignty and International Data Spaces
- The practical training for specialists and managers presents the basics of data sovereignty and the structure of the International Data Spaces architecture with its technologies, base services, and roles.
- The Industrial Digital Twin Association and University4Industry offer pre-competitive online trainings that provide basic knowledge and understanding of Digital Twins and their concrete implementation.
- The training is divided into an “Awareness Training” and an “Implementation Training” , which can be completed either individually or together.
- The target group of the Awareness Training are Executives with an interest in developing a fundamental understanding of the Digital Twin and the Asset Administration Shell.
- The target group of the Implementation Training are Developers who would like to start implementing the Digital Twin.
